A large number of community groups help promote waste and recycling activities in Lincolnshire.

Prominent organisations include national charities such as:

  • Oxfam
  • The Salvation Army
  • The British Heart Foundation.

These charities collect and accept all manner of unwanted items that can be put to good use. Good examples include:

  • Unwanted clothing and other textiles
  • Books
  • CDs
  • Mobile phones
  • Furniture

Many small voluntary groups also collect and recycle household waste in Lincolnshire. These range from parish councils, church groups and scout groups to small social enterprises.
